Dr. Robert Colter

Education

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Indiana University in 1985
  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), Indiana University School of Dentistry, graduated with High Distinction in 1989
  • Post-graduate Orthodontic Residency at Indiana University School of Dentistry Orthodontic Department where he earned his certificate to practice orthodontics and received a Master of Science degree in 1991.

Professional Organizations

Dr. Colter has served as president of the Western Indiana Dental Association, president of the Indiana Association of Orthodontists, and as a board member for the Indiana Association of Orthodontists.

He is active in his community, volunteering his professional services at St. Anne’s Dental Clinic in Terre Haute, which is made possible through the efforts of St. Anne’s Church and the donation of services from area dentists. St. Anne’s Dental Clinic delivers care to the underserved in Terre Haute and surrounding areas and is an effort to improve access to dental care for persons in need.

Away from the office Dr. Colter enjoys spending time with his daughters Celia and Lily, and his lovely wife Dr. Linda. His other interests include woodworking, snow skiing and fishing.
